How to: Mini Crown Braid
How to Style a Mini Crown Braid
Girls love doing different things with their hair, in order to reach a stunning look and stand out in the crowd. Some of us prefer a specialist’s approach, others, learn and do it on their own. If you do not want to think about what to do with the entire hair, you can simply trick something with one part of it only. Braids are what will come to your rescue.
Braids have always been in fashion. They look so girlish, so neat and feminine on us. You can have a mini crown braid if your hair is of medium length or long enough. For short hair unfortunately, a full braid will not be achieved. Here, we suggest you ways to learn how to style a mini crown braid at home.
Number one secret of getting an ideal braid is not having clean hair. That may sound strange, but when you have just washed your hair and want to style it, the latter will not obey you. Slightly dirty hair is easy to wrap.
All you need to have at a hand is pins and a spray. The spray will help your hair “listen to” your hands. If your hair is clean, then you can double the use of a spray to reach more effects.
You can either form 2 braids on each side of your head and make both ends meet at the back of your head, or you can start from one side, like from one ear and make it to the other one. This way the braid will cover your head’s front part.
To start with, first comb your hair and divide it into two parts. Then take some part of your hair, by dividing it into three equal parts and start the task. Take the section of hair that is closest to your middle part, and bring it under the middle section. Then take the one part that is closest to your forehead and again bring it under the middle section, making it the middle section.
After doing so, start adding hair to each of the section, to have a thicker section. You should add hair to each of the section by continuing the steps. First add hair to the section closest to the middle one, bring it under the middle section. Add some hair to the part closer to your forehead; bring it under the middle section again. Once you do so, you can either keep on adding small parts of hair each time you bring one section under the other one. Or stop adding hair; if you do not want to have a thick braid. And keep on doing this way till you reach the end of your hair, when it is impossible to braid any more. Fasten the ends of your hair. Repeat the same action on the other side of your head as well.
Finally wrap the braids around your head with the help of pins. Tuck the ends of each braid under the other braid. Make sure to hide the pins beneath each braid, so that they are not seen. At the end of the procedure you can fix the braid with a spray, just to feel safe that it is firm enough and is not going to fall down when you make a sudden movement. And here you are! Ready to show your simple, yet fashionable look!
